Traffic Alerts

Grant Street/Pond Street Area
Water main construction activities are schedule to take place on Howe Street, “C” Street, Elder Street, Essex Street and Kendall Street. Traffic will be managed thorough the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone.  Construction activities are schedule to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. Expect delays while travelling in this area.

North Concord Street
Preconstruction survey work is anticipated to begin the week of May 28th on Concord Street between School Street and Watson Place.  Traffic will be managed utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan around the surveyors.  Construction activities are schedule to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.  Expect delays while travelling in this area.

Wickford Road Bridge
Wickford Road Bridge is temporarily closed for rehabilitation by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT).  It is anticipated that the Wickford Road Bridge will reopen once construction is complete in the late Fall of 2013.  Expect delays while travelling in this area. Winter Street Bridge Over the Sudbury River
Construction crews are installing temporary traffic signals at the intersection of Fountain Street and Dudley Road.  Traffic will be managed thorough the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone.  Construction activities are schedule to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.  Expect delays while travelling in this area.

Department of Public Works Highway Division Projects

“A” Street
Roadway construction activities are scheduled to take place on “A” Street during the week of May 28th.  Traffic will be managed thorough the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone.  Construction activities are schedule to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.  Expect delays while traveling in this area. 

Guadalcanal Road & Oran Road
Roadway construction activities are scheduled to take place on Guadalcanal Road and Oran Road during the week of May 28th.  Traffic will be managed thorough the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone.  Construction activities are schedule to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.  Expect delays while traveling in this area. 

Speen Street
Roadway construction activities are scheduled to take place on Speen Street during the week of May 28th.  Traffic will be managed thorough the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone.  Construction activities are schedule to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.  Expect delays while traveling in this area.
